For its 36th annual run, Nashville Pride Festival returns to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park June 22 and 23, and a massive lineup for the main Equality Stage has been announced.
Some of the performers are primarily known for music, like R&B champion Tinashe, country ace Brooke Eden and popsters Icona Pop, Slayyyter and G Flip. While everyone involved has a broad array of skills, there’s a strong chance you know other folks on the lineup — like Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner Billy Porter and drag star and model Shea Couleé — from a huge variety of different contexts.
The aforementioned Brooke Eden is a Nashvillian, and she’s just one of several who are set to appear on the main Equality Stage. Songsmith Denitia and rockers Pet Envy are among the other locals who will be there, and Music City DJs Jane Dupree, Manrelic and Afrosheen are set to handle the wheels of steel. The Nashville Drag EXTRAvaganza, an extensive showcase for Music City drag talent, is coming back as well. Also, RNBW’s extensive songwriter-centric Rainbow Stage lineup hasn’t been announced yet.
General admission tickets are available now; they run $10 for a single day and $15 for the whole weekend, while VIP options are also available. Check out the Nashville Pride website for tickets and more details, and see a by-day breakdown of performances here.
