Controversial country star Morgan Wallen, who you may remember from past hits like "Saying the N-Word on a Ring Camera," is once again making headlines for less-than-flattering reasons. Metro Nashville Police officers arrested the country singer Sunday evening after he allegedly threw a chair from the rooftop of Eric Church's six-story honky-tonk Chief's. MNPD tweeted Monday that Wallen was booked on three counts of felony endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Police say the chair landed "close" to two officers.

This isn't the first time the country star made the news after a night of partying. In 2021, TMZ released Ring camera footage of Wallen shouting the N-word. While that incident cost him some short-term opportunities with CMT and his record label, his 2021 release Dangerous: The Double Album saw an increase in sales following the negative headlines. He was more or less welcomed back to the country music industry with open arms less than a year later, bolstered by an almost completely sold-out tour in 2022.

This isn't Wallen's first arrest at a honky-tonk either. In 2020, he was arrested after being kicked out of Kid Rock's honky-tonk, a neon tourist trap that's seen its share of rowdy customers.

MNPD says Wallen's bond was $15,250. The singer's lawyer told The Tennessean that Wallen "is cooperating fully with authorities."
