The most recent mini-heat-wave has got me to thinking about enjoying an ice-cold beer in air-conditioned comfort, so the announcement of this year’s edition of the Nashville Predators Craft Beer Festival arrived just in the nick of time. The Saturday, June 22, event benefits the Nashville Predators Community Foundation, which has distributed more than $8 million to the community since its inception.
The festival kicks off at 3 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and a half-hour later for the hoi polloi and will last until 7. Other advantages for the VIP tickets include a dedicated check-in table plus special tasting (High Gravity & Specialty Craft Beer) and food in the Lexus Lounge. Both GA and VIP tickets include a souvenir glass for tasting (but VIPs get a bigger one), unlimited tastings of local and regional craft beers and other beverages on the main festival floor, and a free balcony-level ticket to a select October or November Predators home game.
Designated driver tickets are also available, and downtown is pretty convenient to reach via WeGo Public Transit. Tickets are on sale now and prices will increase on June 8, so don’t drag your skates!
