CLE Webinar: High Stakes – Effectively Mediating Labor Law 240 Cases in New York

CLE Events | Webinar Date: April 10, 2024

New York State Labor Law Section 240 holds owners and general contractors strictly liable for injuries and sequelae from height-related accidents, including falls from ladders and scaffolds. Labor Law 240 cases are high stakes for both sides, making mediation all the more important. Proper preparation is vital to the successful resolution of these types of matters.

NAM Hearing Officer, James W. Borkowski, Esq., will provide tips and insights from a litigator and mediator by taking a look behind the scenes of the mediation process with an emphasis on preparation, including pre-mediation discussions, submissions and what a mediator is looking for to facilitate the resolution.

This CLE, “High Stakes: Effectively Mediating Labor Law 240 Cases in New York”, will be presented to the law firm, gartner + bloom PC on Wednesday, April 10th at 1p.m. ET.
