This Privacy Policy explains how the Center for Investigative Reporting, Mother Jones, Reveal, and the Center for Investigative Reporting Studios (together, “we,” “us,” and “our”) collect, process, and disclose your personal information as part of operating the website, as well as any other app, website, news programming or service that links to this Privacy Policy (“Services”).

Information you provide directly to us. For certain activities, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter or magazine, respond to surveys, submit a donation, or engage with interactive features on the Services, we may ask you to provide some of the following types of information, including:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update the Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Effective Date” date above and post the new Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review the Privacy Policy each time you visit the Services to stay informed of our privacy practices.
