GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Community leaders kicked off a campaign Thursday to house 100 chronically homeless residents in 100 days, an effort that, if successful, could serve as a model for housing the community’s most vulnerable residents, supporters say.
Led by the Grand Rapids Area Coalition to End Homelessness, the 100 in 100 campaign has a broad array of public and private partners. That includes the city of Grand Rapids, Kent County, the Grand Rapids Chamber, Degage Ministries, Mel Trotter Ministries and more.
