ROCKFORD, MI — Years in the making, downtown Rockford is on the cusp of getting its own hotel.
Grand Rapids-based Wheeler Development Group is planning to host a ceremonial groundbreaking at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 27 for Hotel Rose, a three-story, 54-room boutique hotel with ground-floor retail space and a restaurant at 12 S. Main St.
