GRAND RAPIDS, MI — After hitting record hotel room sales in Kent County in 2022, tourism officials are hoping for another strong performance this year.

“Sitting today, I’m pretty bullish on setting another record,” said Doug Small, president and CEO of Experience Grand Rapids, the county’s convention and tourism marketing agency. “We’re not going to blow it away if we do. We budgeted for about a 3% increase over 2022 for revenue.”
