Hyperpop artist Charli XCX began as a teenager in Essex, posting songs to her Myspace page and performing at underground raves. She went on to release upbeat hits like “Boom Clap” and “I Love It,” both from the 2010s, and is now coloring Billboard charts an electric slime green with her sixth and latest studio album, “Brat.” The record, a blunt yet caring ode to all things feminine, reached number one on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums list, and ranked third overall on the Billboard 200.
