Oti Mabuse has dropped a massive hint about who might appear on Strictly 2024 during an appearance on Saturday Kitchen Live today.

The former Strictly pro appeared on the show alongside rapper and social media chef Big Zuu. The pair could be seen dancing together in a clip shared on the Saturday Kitchen Live Instagram account alongside the text: "Big Zuu for Strictly 2024!" which doting mum Oti quickly reposted. Oti's endorsement may well earn Big Zuu a place on the 2024 series, seeing as she was one of the BBC ballroom show's most successful ever dancers - and the star cook certainly has the moves to boot!

Oti reposted the video, adding: "Top guy." The pair recently starred together in an episode of Big Zuu’s 12 Dishes in 12 Hours, in which they can be seen making their way around the eateries of France.

Oti welcomed her first baby at the end of 2023

And it looks like Big Zuu - who dropped out of his social work course to pursue a career in music - would be more than up for it. In a Q&A with Radio Times last year, he admitted he's a big fan of the dancing competition. He said: "I watched the first episode with my mum because she loves it, and since then I’ve been keeping up – Bobby Brazier is the most beautiful man to ever live!"

Addressing whether he'd be up for appearing on the show, he said: "They’ve asked me before… Yes, I’ve got rhythm! You should be able to tell! I can’t do a quick step or a flamenco or whatever – but I’d try. If I went on Strictly, I’d want to have a love scandal. Do a Stacey Dooley. Sorry Stace!"

Meanwhile, Oti - who announced she was leaving Strictly in February 2022 after seven years - has opened up about her postpartum body image struggles. She introduced her new arrival on Christmas Day with a touching Instagram post after the tot was born 10 weeks premature and spent six weeks in hospital following the birth. Oti returned to work on Dancing on Ice, hiring stylist Emma Lane to help her get a sense of self back again.

Oti said: "Once you become a mum, all those things you cared about you just don’t care about. You are not important anymore, it’s all about the baby. My body has changed, and I want to try new things.” She revealed how her body has "completely changed" now she doesn't dance for hours every day. She said: “My body just doesn’t burn as fast as it used to.”

Posting online she credited parents Peter and Dudu with inspiring her to start a family, saying they “never put me under any pressure, they supported my want of making something of myself”. The star added: “I am who I am because of my mom and dad. I would want nothing more than to have them in my children’s life. To teach them values, skills and advice them how we were raised.”
