Love Island fans have slammed a 'pointless' addition to the ITV show - ahead of Casa Amor.
The Love Island stars have been looking for love in the Mallorca villa for several weeks now but tonight, the girls will be sent to Casa Amor for a shocking twist. It will mean that the girls will be joined by six new boys - and six new girls will head into the villa for the boys. Ahead of the big reveal, the girls were sent on a cocktail afternoon.
However, fans were left puzzled when they spotted 'extras' in the back of the scene as the girls sat down to discuss their fights and fall outs, as well as how their relationships were going so far.
Fans were confused by the addition of extra people, given that part of the show is that the Islanders don't have contact with family and friends or anyone in the outside world. Puzzled viewers shared their thoughts on Twitter.
One fan wrote: "are the other people eating extras or something because where’s the etiquette why are they screaming #loveIsland," whilst a second added: "lol the paid extras in the background are perplexed at this screaming #LoveIsland." A third fan wrote: "Are these people extras in the back? It feels like a friends set lmao this is weird #loveisland."
"These poor people having lunch behind the girls. I hope they’re extras #loveisland," a fourth wrote. A fifth added: "did they really hire extras, this shows in the bin #loveisland," with a sixth sharing: "the extras in the back makes this look so fake #loveisland."

Earlier this week, Harriett and Ronnie were booted out of the villa in a shock eviction.
Speaking about her feud with Jess, she said: "I feel like from the beginning I’ve always tried to reach out to Jess and try and be there for her . I tried to rekindle our friendship after the Ronnie situation. Naturally, it’s going to be hard when you both fancy the same boy, there’s going to be a bit of tension, but I feel like I’ve always tried to be the bigger person in the situation. However, I did put my foot down and just walked away from that situation because some of the comments I didn’t agree with."
