TUI has revealed that it will be expanding its Cuba holidays offering in summer 2020, with new direct flights to the sun-soaked island.

The travel firm will be offering direct flights to the stunning beach resort of Varadero departing from Manchester (the only UK airline to offer this service).

Varadero is already a firm favourite with British holidaymakers who flock to its white sands and luxury hotels.

In fact, the travel giant has some tempting glamorous offerings for guests including the 4T Plus Royalton Hicacos, an adults-only hotel, the 4T Plus Iberostar Varadero and the 4T Blau Varedero.

Then of course it's an easy day trip to Havana, or you can easily make the drive to spend a few days in the city as part of a wider holiday. (You can check out our Havana city guide for top tips on what to see and do no matter how long you're visiting!).

You can already book the new Cuba offerings on the TUI website .

However, it's not just Cuba where the brand is expanding.

TUI announced that it will be launching new flights and hotels to The Gambia in Africa, with the holidays already on sale .

It's sure to be a hit with intrepid explorers thanks to the spectacular landscapes from the lush green mangroves to the picture-perfect sandy beaches, not to mention the wildlife to see from monkeys to crocodiles.

The first TUI flight will depart on the 1st November 2020 with two flights a week, from London Gatwick as well as weekly flights from Birmingham and Manchester.

As part of the new packages, holidaymakers will have a choice of eight hotels in beach resorts including Kotu and Kololi, such as the 4T Ocean Bay Hotel & Resort in Cape Point and the 3T Bakotu, a family-run hotel by a golf course and lagoon.

Those looking for extra luxury may want to check out the 4T African Princess with swim-up rooms, a pool and a beachfront setting.
