Beats is back with long-awaited upgrade to its most popular Solo headphones

Beats has just announced the launch of its latest music makers which include new Beats Solo 4 headphones and Beats Solo Buds wireless earbuds.

Beats Solo 4 (BEATS)

The famous Beats brand is back with a long-awaited update to its hugely popular Beats Solo headphones. The Apple-owned firm has just announced the release of its brand new Beats Solo 4 on-ear cans which now come packed with bigger sound an improved design and epic 50-hour battery life on a single charge - that's a power boot that beats most of its rivals.

Beats is boasting that its Solo 4 headphones have been re-engineered to offer better clarity and less distortion. They also get Apple's clever Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking which makes the sound appear to hit your ears from all directions making things feel more immersive.

Despite being owned by the US tech giant, the Beats Solo 4 connect seamlessly with both iPhone and Android plus, if you lose them, you can easily track them down via full compatibility with Find My (iOS) or Find My Device (Android).

Other extras include upgraded beam-forming microphones and an intelligent noise-learning algorithm which offers a higher-quality call performance. There's also the option to plug them into airline seats or your laptop via a standard 3.5mm wired connection. A lightweight design, fast charging and simple controls all add to the appeal.

If your current Beats Solo are in need of a refresh then the Solo 4 goes on sale today. They cost £199 and come in three colours including Matte Black, Slate Blue and Cloud Pink.

Those cans aren't the only new product coming from Beats with the audio giant also releasing new Solo Buds as well.

These wireless buds, which will cost £79 when they launch in June, promise to offer an improved fit, decent sound and simple connectivity with both iPhone and Android.

They also move away from the usual bulky charging case found on most wireless buds. Instead, Beats says you will simply refill them via a standard plug and then get 18 hours of usage before needing to recharge them again. The idea behind this is that it makes the case much smaller and less bulky to have in your pocket.
