Emma Raducanu, along with three other mums who are Grand Slam winners, have been granted wildcards for Wimbledon.

The 2021 US Open champ is set to make her SW19 comeback after a two-year hiatus, having missed last year's tournament due to wrist and ankle surgeries. Raducanu, who is among the 11 British players awarded wildcards, has climbed back up to world No.165 following her semi-final appearance at the Rothesay Open in Nottingham last week.

Naomi Osaka and Caroline Wozniacki are both set to return to Wimbledon for the first time since 2019, after becoming mothers. The Dane declared: "I have so many special memories. There's something so special about playing on Wimbledon's Centre Court that you can't replicate anywhere else."

Angelique Kerber, the 2018 Wimbledon champion and another former world No.1, will also be making a comeback after taking a break last season to start a family.

A record prize money of £50m is up for grabs, with first-round losers guaranteed a hefty £60,000. It's more than a quarter of the £230,806 career earnings of British No.6 Billy Harris, who will be making his Grand Slam debut at 29.

The first man from the Isle of Man to play singles in the Open era spent his early career touring Europe in a converted transit van. He achieved his best ever win in the first round of the cinch Championships on Tuesday by defeating world No32 Tomas Martin Etcheverry.

The remaining wildcards have been awarded to British players Francesca Jones, Heather Watson, Yuriko Miyazaki, Liam Broady, Jan Choinski, Jacob Fearnley, Arthur Fery, Paul Jubb and last year's boys champion Henry Searle.
