The much-respected NFL figure bid farewell to his 13-year career based at the Lincoln Financial Field after the most recent season. Now, it seems there is no shortage of broadcasting opportunities knocking at his door as he embarks on this next phase of his professional journey.

Previously, news was circulating that Kelce had decided to join the broadcasting team of ESPN to feature alongside Marcus Spears, Ryan Clark and Scott Van Pelt on "Monday Night Countdown" in the coming season. In addition to this, The New York Post has also suggested that negotiations are underway for the podcast "New Heights" to find a new home at Amazon's Wondery service.

A report from Bloomberg has hinted at a possible lucrative deal with a giant like Amazon for the Kelce brothers, who since launching their media venture in September 2022, have racked up an impressive 4.2 million TikTok followers. On their show "New Heights", the Philadelphia Eagles legend shared his enthusiasm about a potential media career, particularly with ESPN.

He revealed: "Nothing has been officially inked yet or announced yet but, obviously, there's been a lot of reports out there about me going to ESPN and I think time will kind of take care of that but it's a tremendous honor to even be considered to potentially work there."

Reflecting on their childhood in Cleveland, the Kelce brothers reminisced about how ESPN was integral to their dreams of playing football. Jason expressed his excitement, saying: "We were glued to the TV each and every day, so the fact that I may potentially, probably will be working there is pretty darn cool."

The newly appointed ESPN pundit revealed that he conducted thorough research before accepting the role. "I did my due diligence, you want to make sure you're really looking at things, talking to people that are knowledgeable in the industry - neither one of us have ever done something like this. Throughout the whole process, meeting and talking to everyone over at ESPN, it became apparent that it was really the right fit and at the end of the day, something that I'm really, really looking forward to [in] this next phase."

During a previous ESPN appearance, the Eagles icon admitted his unfamiliarity with the media landscape and the demands of an analysts role. "This is all new territory for me. I have even more respect for it now. It's very hard to do something live, reactive of stimulus that just happened and having something clever and meaningful to say."

Kelce added: "It's a lot easier when you're sitting on the couch or have heard the name over and over. Certainly, some of the names are difficult to remember on the spot."
