There is still 11 days to go until the new transfer window opens, but rumours continue to circle surrounding who might leave and join Manchester United this summer.

The Red Devils ended the season with a 2-1 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup last weekend which eased the pressure on under-fire boss Erik ten Hag. Reports had suggested that the Dutchman was facing the sack regardless of the result at Wembley, but the victory does seem to have quietened down sack rumours.

While that situation is revolving, United continue to be linked with several players as they prepare for a busy summer of transfers, both from an incoming and outgoing point of view. Matheus Cunha is the name that has been mentioned as a potential target for the Red Devils, following an excellent season with Wolves.

Here are the latest from United.

Cunha eyed

United are eyeing up a move to sign £60million-rated forward Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

Mirror Sport understands the Red Devils constantly tracked Cunha throughout last season - and he is considered to be high up on their list of potential summer transfer targets. Erik ten Hag only has two recognised strikers in Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford and a new attacker is on the agenda.

And Cunha has emerged as a player United would like to recruit even though he has only been at Wolves for 17 months, 11 of which have been permanently after his £44m move from Atletico Madrid. Cunha scored 14 goals - 12 in the Premier League - and made eight assists in an impressive full debut season.

Ouedraogo considered

Aston Villa, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle are all considering a move for Schalke star Assan Ouedraogo, according to Sky Germany.

Ouedraogo appeared set for Bayern Munich, but the German giants have pulled out of the deal at the last minute. The 18-year-old midfielder has a £12million release clause in his contract, which must be triggered by mid-June.

He made 17 appearances in 2. Bundesliga last term for Schalke and chipped in with three goals and two assists. Ouedraogo missed a number of months of the season due to a ligament injury.

Kehl on Sancho

Borussia Dortmund chief Sebastian Kehl has admitted he "doesn't know" whether the club will be able to secure a permanent deal for Jadon Sancho this summer.

Sancho has enjoyed a fine loan spell at Dortmund since moving from Manchester United in January, having been frozen out under Erik ten Hag. Although Dortmund didn't come out on top in the Champions League final against Real Madrid, he impressed throughout the game.

He told TNT Sports when quizzed on their stance surrounding Sancho: "I don't know yet, to be honest, because it was great to have him for the last six months. He increased our quality in the team and he’s looking forward to the final. He wants to win and everything else will be decided afterwards.

"The situation is pretty clear, he still has a contract at Man United, we have no buy option meaning we need to discuss and negotiate. I don’t know if that will work. But first of all, I hope that he will score one or two times tonight then the price will increase."
