Liverpool will target a fifth consecutive Premier League win when they host Fulham on Wednesday night, but the fallout from Sunday's chaotic affair with Spurs at Anfield continues to overshadow matters.
The win kept the faint Champions League ambitions of Jurgen Klopp's men alive, but they remain seven points off Manchester united in fourth having played a game more. And the Reds surely can't afford any dropped points from their final five fixtures if they are to dine at Europe's top table again next season.
But the background noise around their manager is currently showing no signs of simmering. His controversial celebration after Diogo Jota's late winner on Sunday, coupled with his post-match verbal attack on referee Paul Tierney, is set to land him in hot water.

Klopp facing a big ban for "unacceptable behaviour"
Despite claiming that referee Paul Tierney had spoken to him in an inappropriate manner in the aftermath of shouting in celebration at the fourth official, a lengthy ban is on the cards for Klopp.
His post-match allegations against the referee almost certainly leaves him in breach of FA rules that stipulate that any comments that "imply bias and/or attack the integrity of the referee" are a breach of the governing body’s rule E3, with that charge now likely to be sent to Klopp. And his past record is likely to come into play.

Klopp received a one-game touchline ban after confronting Anthony Taylor during the Premier League clash against Manchester City in October, with the regulatory commission stating its reasoning that “considered previous disciplinary record to be an aggravating factor" in their decision. If he's found guilty again this time around, it won't just be a solitary match in the stands for what former referee Keith Hackett has branded "unacceptable behaviour."
As for Tierney, he's been taken out of the firing line for this weekend's round of Premier League fixtures.
Jota and Skipp make amends in the tunnel
It wasn't just Klopp's behaviour that was in the spotlight after Sunday, with Diogo Jota's tackle on Oliver Skipp the subject of a post-match rant from Spurs interim boss Ryan Mason.
Jota drew blood from the Tottenham man after catching him in the head with a high boot, and was deemed fortunate to escape with a yellow card. But now it's been revealed that Liverpool's match-winner sought out his opponent afterwards to apologise.
Footage taken in the Anfield tunnel and posted on Liverpool’s YouTube channel shows Jota approaching Skipp, who is walking in the opposite direction carrying his boots. He says “no intention” and then “sorry” as the two share a brief embrace.
Klopp could be hamstrung by injury worries
The last thing Klopp needed to be worried about right now is his own fitness, having seemingly pulled his hamstring during his controversial touchline antics on Sunday.
But more pressingly, there is now concern over Jota's participation against Fulham. The striker, back in form after a lengthy lay off, is now seemingly struggling to make the starting XI on Wednesday. "Diogo Jota struggling with a back issue," tweeted @TheAnfieldTalk. "He’s a doubt vs Fulham."
