Drink prices at the EDC festival in Las Vegas have shocked people online - with festival-goers paying $150 (£120) for a pack of beer.

The festival ran from May 17 to May 19 and eye-watering prices have since been posted to social media. Outrage soon followed as Twitter/X users spotted $1,700 (£1,300) bottles of vodka and $150 six-packs of Heineken.

The festival prices left thousands online fuming, with $90 (£70) six-packs of water also listed on the menu. More insane still, a 6L bottle of Armand de Brignac 'Ace of Spades' Rose Champagne would have set you back $63,000 (£50,000).

Tickets for the Electric Daisy Carnival event were also expensive with some reports indicating a single ticket would cost anywhere between $343 (£270) to an eye-watering $909 (£716).

Some Twitter/X users questioned how the drink prices could be real, while others joked the expensive drinks should have healing powers. One wrote: "That 6 pack of water better hydrate me for a month per bottle lmao." A second added: "That water better be the water Jesus walked on." Other outraged social media members suggested they would rather be left "dying of thirst" than pay $90 for a six pack of Smart Water.

Attendees of the EDC festival have claimed the prices seen in the screenshot were for a VIP area and not for regular festival-goers. A comment read: "This is for the sky deck ultra VIP area." Package deals were also on offer including a "Perfect 10" deal for $14,700 (£11,600), which was 10 bottles of 750ml Dom Pérignon Brut. Purchasing the same 10 bottles from Fortnum and Mason would cost $2,600 (£2,050).

A TikTok post showing a $277,519.39 (£218,000) service charge at the festival has also circulated. The receipt showed a water bucket sold for $2,700 (£2,100) and a Redbull bucket for $300 (£230). Also included were four Ace of Spades 1.5L Rose for $38,000 (£30,000). TikTokers were as infuriated as Twitter users, with one asking if EDC had "gone too far" with their pricing. Another comment read: "People will literally die at this event cause they can't afford water."
