A model who found fame when boasted she had a boob job on the NHS for free says her implants are ruined, with one going rock hard and the other deflated.

Josie Cunningham caused a national outcry in 2009 when she underwent the breast enhancement operation for free - paid for by taxpayers' cash.

Now the mum of six has revealed she is seeing a doctor as she thinks the implants have come to the end of their life and one may even be ruptured.

The 32-year-old said on Instagram : "My implants are ruined. Really hope I get the help required and I'm not just shoved aside.

"I've grade 5..doctors tomorrow, can't cope now. One's rock hard others deflated."

The model appears to think she is suffering from capsular contracture, where so much scar tissue forms around the implant it becomes hard and changes shape.

The grading for the seriousness of the condition goes up to grade four - where the breasts look an odd shape, feel hard to the touch, have moved upwards or are displaying other oddities linked to the scar tissue.

Often surgery will be required to remove or replace the implant.

It is not known whether she plans to see another NHS doctor over the issue.

Several followers showed their support for controversial Josie.

One said: "Getting implants was the worst decision ever I made when I was 27...14 years ago .

"I had nothing but trouble . Rupture, contracture, all money money money wasted.

"I'm now on Dr Frank Plovier's waiting list to have them removed and uplift but can't get in till June 2024 again another 5.5k."

And another simply added: "Hope you get the help you need."

One asked: “Will you get it done on the NHS?”

Josie was dubbed 'the most hated woman in Britain' after having £4,800 breast enlargement surgery on the NHS after she complained she was traumatised because her natural boobs were too small.

Many were angry as their relatives were waiting months for operations.

She later said she had "the most famous t*ts in the country" after going from a 32A to a 32DD.

And the mum-of-six was further criticised when she tried to sell tickets to watch her give birth.

She also launched a dating site for average looking girls, and later claimed she'd had an abortion so she could have a nose job.
