Christine Lampard’s spring-ready Aligne co-ord

Christine Lampard looked gorgeous as she anchored Loose Women on Wednesday, Febraury 28 (

Anchoring Loose Women on Wednesday this week, Christine Lampard looked incredible in a classy green two-piece set from celeb-lobed brand Aligne. The mum-of-two looked elegant and spring-ready in the brand’s Michelle Ribbed Cardigan, which comes in at £89, paired flawlessly with the matching Mermaid V-neck Knitted Dress (£119 here).

The expensive looking cardigan featured rib knit detailing, a high, round neck and chic thumb holes, sitting neatly at the hips, while the full-length dress flattered Christine's figure with its fitted top and slightly flared skirt, with the shade being bang on trend for the new season.

We absolutely love the layered look as seen on Christine, but equally, the dress alone will be a dreamy summer wardrobe addition, and can equally be layered up with jumpers, or worn over blouses with statement collars for a cooler vibe.

Similarly, the cardigan is just as versatile, working as a top on its own with jeans or a skirt, or as an extra layer over your favourite white tee. As such, it certainly feels like a worthy investment, and even comes in black if that’s more your style.

Charlotte Tilbury’s new hydrating cleanser - £12

The Charlotte Tilbury cleanser is available from £12, or can be bought in a larger size for £25

Whenever Charlotte Tilbury announces a new product, it immediately captures the attention of beauty fans, influencers, celebrities and editors alike. And this week the Hollywood makeup artist has released her second major launch of 2024 - the new Magic Hydration Revival Cleanser.

The three-in-one priming cleanser is said to ‘revolutionise’ your skincare routine while providing a ‘spa-fresh skin glow’ without leaving skin feeling stripped or dried out. It features a transformative cream-to-foam-to-milk formula to cleanse, hydrate and prime skin ready for makeup, with trials suggesting it leaves skin ‘97 per cent clearer and smoother in seven days.’

What’s more is that you can try it out for as little as £12, while the larger 120ml bottle comes in at £25. It’s the first time we’ve seen a hydrating cleanser from Charlotte Tilbury, though it will no doubt be a fantastic addition to their existing skincare favourites like the award-winning Magic Cream and Glow Toner.

Last year's ballet flats trend isn’t going away and River Island has given these pumps a contemporary update which has earned the approval of Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge.

Frankie wore the £35 Studded Mary Jane Ballet Pumps on her Instagram last week, paired with a light blue denim jean and grey jumper; topped with a bright yellow coat.

Made of see-through mesh material and a thick strap and silver buckle, they boast a similar design to these Logo-strap embellished ballet flats by Miu Miu.

The Daily Star’s Tiffany Lo went to hunt them down in store, and said: “I have to say they’re looking more expensive than they are. The oversized buckle fastening balances the femininity of the ballet flat design and goes well with both trousers and dresses.”
