The second major on golf's calendar is upon as the PGA Championship returns to Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky this week.
Last year's winner Brooks Koepka will be looking to defend the title after an impressive performance last season but the bookies are predicting a different major winner to lift the trophy this weekend with the American golfer priced at 14/1 to successfully defend the title for a second time in his career.
If he does achieve this then he will equal Tiger Woods' record of four PGA Championship titles with the latter last winning the tournament back in 2007. Woods is currently priced at 250/1 with some bookies to win his fifth this year.

The world number one Scottie Scheffler is the favourite to pick up his second major win on the calendar after picking up a green jacket in Augusta last month.

Scheffler is a best price 4/1 to win his second major tournament this year with most bookmakers including BoyleSports, Sky Bet and William Hill, giving him an implied 20% chance of winning the tournament.
The world number one, has already picked up the Masters jacket this year as the favourite so the stakes and pressure is the same as he looks to normalise this with some comparing him to Tiger Woods.

Rory McIlroy is given an implied probability of 13.3% to pick up his long overdue fifth major title of his career. It has been 10 years since his last major win back in 2014 where he picked up both the Open and PGA Championship titles.
Since then, he has picked up 20 top 10 finishes in the majors including runners-up spots in the Masters in 2022 and the US Open last year too.
Form wise, he started of slowly this season but has picked up two titles in the DP World Tour before lifting the Wells Fargo trophy last weekend placing him in great form ahead of the tournament in Kentucky.
