Gypsy Rose Blanchard has revealed she's pregnant and expecting her first baby with her boyfriend Ken Urker.

The 32 year old, who was released from prison on December 28 last year after serving seven years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, shared the news in a video on her YouTube channel titled "I'm Pregnant, My Journey So Far".

In the episode, posted on July 9, Gypsy began by saying: "I know the rumours have been flying around for quite some time now." She then confirmed: "...and I'm happy to announce, I'm 11 weeks pregnant." Gypsy went on to say: "Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025."

She admitted the pregnancy was unplanned but said they were both excited about becoming parents. Addressing concerns from her followers, Gypsy stated: "I know that there are going to be people who feel like I'm not ready to be a mother and I don't know if anyone's really ready to be a mother."

An emotional Gypsy added: "All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby." Continuing her story, she said: "I am a mother now, I am happy, and I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn't."

Her mom Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen syndrome by proxy (currently known as factitious disorder imposed on another). She subjected Gypsy to countless medical procedures, deceiving everyone into believing Gypsy was seriously ill, despite being fit and healthy in truth.

Dee was killed by Gypsy's former boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn on June 10, 2015. Upon their arrest, both Godejohn and Gypsy confessed to the murder. Godejohn, the main perpetrator of the crime, earned himself life imprisonment with the option for parole following his first-degree murder charge.

Gypsy, charged with second-degree murder for her involvement in her mum's death, got a 10-year sentence but got out last year after serving seven years. While in prison, Gypsy and Ken exchanged letters and got engaged in 2018, though they broke up before her release. Upon her release, Gypsy was married to ex-husband Ryan Anderson, but their union fell apart soon after.

Speaking earlier this year, Gypsy spilled the beans on her reunion with Ken. She told People magazine: "Ken and I reconnected as friends. It wasn't like, jump out of a marriage and then let me meet up with you, and boom, we're in a relationship. We had kept a friendship for the longest time. He was in a relationship. I was with Ryan, and so we were living different lives with respect to our partners, a 'wish you the best' type of thing."

After her separation from Ryan, Ken stepped in to provide comfort during her tough times, reigniting their past connection. Gypsy confessed: "Ken was that support for me when going through this emotional hardship of crying and then being okay and then crying. Then I let myself open up to the feelings that I've always had for Ken. Those feelings just don't die. I would say that Ken is my first love because that's when I honestly felt like a mature love. It wasn't based off of a fantasy. It was actually based on a connection that two people have for each other."

Since leaving prison Gypsy has transformed her appearance. The pregnant star, who is currently appearing in the new docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, had surgery to reshape her nose earlier this year in a bid to move on from her traumatic childhood and the control her late mother had over her body and medical decisions.

An insider revealed to In Touch why Gypsy was so keen on changing her nose, saying it had always 'bothered her' and she believed it was too prominent for her face. The source added that after enduring such horrific abuse from her mother, this transformation was a step towards healing from her traumatic past.

Gypsy hasn't just stopped at rhinoplasty; she's also revamped her dental health, having had several teeth and salivary glands removed by her mother, Dee Dee. Nowadays, she's embracing a more glamorous style, complete with chic blonde highlights and striking red lipstick.

In May, Gypsy candidly discussed her views on cosmetic procedures with her TikTok followers. She expressed contentment with her body, stating, "So I've been asked this before, if I wanted to get more plastic surgery done, and I honestly don't." She went on to affirm her self-confidence, "I am very happy with everything else that's on my body. I'm happy with my figure; I have a very womanly figure, I have curves, I have boobs. I'm very proud of those. I would not change anything about myself, other than the nose job I had and I'm done."
