Fans of Adele have reacted in shock and horror over news that an ‘Emperor Package’ of VIP tickets to her Las Vegas residency show are being flogged for an eye-watering $5 million (£4.1 million).

Eyebrows were raised when tickets were released for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix - with standard tickets costing a princely £2,000.

But that is nothing in comparison to Caesars Entertainment’s £4.1million ($5m) 'Emperor Package' that will include 12 tickets to the Formula 1 - but only two tickets to see Adele in Sin City.

The extreme luxury VIP package will include 12 Paddock Club tickets, five nights at the Nobu Sky Villa hotel, a private dinner with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, a a 24-hour butler - but just two tickets to Adele's residency at Caesars Palace.

As news has spread about the expensive package deal, scores of Adele fans have taken to social media to blast the price of the tickets - and the fact that only two tickets to her show are included.

One disgruntled Formula 1 fan raged via Twitter : “Absolutely sickening that F1 is even allowing this! Why would I even consider a race in the US when I can easily and am go to Europe to see a race for a fraction of the cost and that includes airfare and hotel.”

Another brutally mocked the deal, tweeting: “The two Adeles residency really seals the deal if they were on the fence of why would you spend 5 million.”

Others noted that the deal included tickets for 12 to all of the perks - except Adele’s concert.

One raged online: “This is so ridiculous! Is this what a formula 1 Emperor Package has come to? I am fuming why only 2 tickets to Adele’s Residency at Caesar’s Palace? We need 12! Fix this!”

And another fumed: “So for $5m you get to take 11 guests to the F1, and then say to 10 guest sorry no Adele for you.”

While many more blasted the overall cost of the package due to its price.

F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali has already defended the ticket prices.

He said: “In terms of price positioning we are going to be on the top side because this is Las Vegas and that is the nature of the customer coming to Las Vegas.”

He added: "Formula One has a certain positioning with regard to the kind of sport it is.”

Just this week it was revealed that Adele herself raked in an impressive £11.5 million over the past year - thanks to the release of her album 30 in 2021 and the launch of her Las Vegas residency.

A Mirror report on Monday explained that cash has been pouring for the star via royalties - and that figures last week showed her company Melted Stone Ltd has reserves of £15million for 2021, up from £3.5m million in 2020.

Her firm A Adkins Touring Ltd which looks after live music made a loss of £88,000 - but has made millions this year thanks to the singer’s live shows in London’s Hyde Park and her residency in Vegas.
