Woman Arraigned in Connection with Double Shooting in Bedford

BEDFORD – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Bedford Chief of Police John Fisher have confirmed that Jessica Cavallaro, 24, of Bedford was arraigned today in Concord District Court on two counts of murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and illegal possession of a firearm in the alleged fatal shooting of her parents, identified as Thelma Tatten and Mark Cavallaro, this morning on Washington Street in Bedford.

At her arraignment the defendant was ordered held without bail, her next court date is August 20, 2024.

This is an open and ongoing investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the Bedford Police Department and State Police Detectives assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

The assigned Assistant District Attorneys are Suzanne Kontz and Mary O’Neill. The Victim Witness Advocate is Cassandra Aviles.
