Hack’s Auto Body Cardinals 5

Kobe Christo, pitching for Padres, threw 85 pitches over five innings, striking out 12 batters. Adrian Bradley closed out the game for the Padres. The Padres started the scoring early on a single by Johnny Weber, followed by a triple by Collin Utler and a ground out by Christo gaving the Padres the lead 2-0. The Cardinals fought back to tie the score but the Padres broke the game open in the fourth inning. A walk by Christo followed by a triple by Jack Gilmore and singles by Travis Benham and Bradley gave the Padres the lead for good. Gilmore lead the offense with a double and triple, followed by Weber with two singles. Reed Blount, Daniel Almonte, Cory Maunas and Blaze Dayton played great defense for the Padres. Leading the way for the Cards with a double that scored two runs was Mario Fare. Also with a double and one run scored was Toshi Hensley. With a hit and one run scored was Brett Karalius. Nice pitching by Fare with six strikeouts and Karalius with one.

Leading the way for the Cards was Donovan Rice who drove a double to the fence and scored a run. Also with a hit and an RBI as well as a run scored was Marcus Johnson. Good pitching by Karalius with six strikeouts and Fare.

Leading the way for the Rockies was Spencer Karalius with two hits, one run scoring a triple and another scoring a run. Tyler Shaw scored two runs and hit a triple that drove in one run. Liam Norr scored a pair of runs. Good pitching by Karalius with three strikeouts, Hunter Wysling with three strikeouts, and Chris Rodriguez with five.

Dave & Lou’s Valero Blue Jays 14,

Rockies’ Shaw had two hits, one of which was a double that drove in two runs; he also scored a run. Rodriguez had two hits and two runs scored. Anthony Kavanaugh had a triple and three runs scored. Others with a hit and two runs scored were Aleks Garza, Tyler Rasmussen, and Mateo Queros. Nice pitching by Karalius, Christian Novelo, Wysling, Rodriguez, and Shaw. It was a tough loss in the last inning for the Jays but nevertheless the team played an awesome game proving they play better and better each game. Justice Turner had a single, a homerun, three RBIs, one stolen base and two runs scored. Max Benham had a single, a double, a walk, one stolen base, and one run scored. Nick Brown had a single, a double, a homerun, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Jared Hansel had a single, two doubles, one RBI, one stolen base, and two runs scored. Shane DeVolder had two singles, a walk, one RBI, five stolen bases, and two runs scored. Tyler Lipke had a single, a walk, two stolen bases, and two runs scored. Connor Davidson had a single, a walk, was hit by a pitch, one RBI, and two stolen bases. Jake Del Rosso had a single, one RBI, two stolen bases, and a run scored. Casey Langsjoen had a single, a walk, a stolen base, and a run scored. Dean Meiman had two walks, one stolen base, and one run scored.

Rockies’ Novelo hit a double. Karalius also had a hit. The Rockies’ lone run scored on a wild pitch by Rasmussen. Good pitching by Shaw with five strike outs and Rodriguez with four.

Al’s Carpets Angels 11

The bats really came alive for the Mets, banging out a team high 15 hits. Leading the Mets with three hits was Shane Hawkins, including two doubles and five RBIs. Mets getting two hits apiece were Jeremy Keller, Jack Bellinger and Ajay Hayes, one of them a double. Andrew Harkness had two hits, a double and three runs and Elijah Ricks had two doubles and five RBIs with two runs scored. Nathan Azzopardi and Brandon Easterby had one hit apiece. Hayes and Azzopardi were the stars on defense. Ricks, Keller, and Harkness all combined to pitch, striking out 10. The Angels battled until the very end. Angels hitters were Fabian Gutierrez, a triple, Tanner Martin, two singles, Jared Julian, two singles, Michael Bigler and Tony Zamagni both singles. Julian, Bigler, Gutierrez, and Zamagni all got RBIs. Excellent pitching was done by Jeffrey Goias and Devon Freeman. Catcher Giovanni Fabiani-Wyatt played a strong game. Defenisve standouts were Bigler, Zamagni, Julian and Deveon Freeman. Cameron DeVry hit a home run.

All Pirates had hits. Mossimo Sibillo pitched the first inning well and JJ Townsend replicated a quality performance. Trevor Hodge cracked a double in the third, while Patrick Nolan caught a pop fly and tagged a base for an outstanding double play in the fouth.

The Yankees’ Austin Pesce and Devon Malashus slammed a tripple each. Also hitting for the Yankees were Evan Ansgarius, Ryan Miller, Anthony Neynaber and Matthew Lerohl. Defensively, Nate Washington had two unassisted outs at first, Devon Malashus played outstanding at short with three unassisted outs and a perfect throw to second for another out, Kyle Weber made an unassisted out at third. The Pirates received great pitching from Santino Guerrero, striking out the side. Nikko Davis’s efficient 12-pitch inning in the second held the game tied. Leading the offense was Townsend with two triples, a single and two RBIs, Davis and Hodge both with three hits and an RBI. Other Pirates with hits were Danny DeFilippis, Jackson Fiske, Dylan Macias, Guerrero and Jacob Barnett with a double. Defense and hustling in the outfield by Graham Callaghan, Guerrero and Barnett helped stop the Yankees from scoring additional runs.

For the Yankees, Julia Goodnol had a beautiful tripple and got the game ball. Also hitting for the Yankees were Austin Aarstad, Dominic Lucia, Ethan Kirkptarick and Washington. Defensively, Pesce at pitcher made a great throw to first for the out. Jordon Malashus had a great defensive game making four unassisted outs. Washington had an unassisted out at first base.

Li’l Mets vs.

Li’l Tigers

Defensively, the Li’l Mets had Kailer Lamb covering the pitcher’s spot while teammates Aidan Hickey and Benjamin Hobbs played well at first and third. Johnny O’Brien caught a line drive and threw to first. The Li’l Mets proved their stong hitting skills when Patrick Kavanaugh, Vincent Smith, Jacob Reeder and Jake Siconolfi came up to bat. Brice Milby and Dylan Kubit showed speed when taking first base.

Li’l A’s

The Li’l Red Socks’ Nathan Zuromski loaded the bases and Ethan Paul followed with an amazing home run. On the field, Evann Smith made a great out at second base while Zack DePriest showed real energy on first. In the second inning, DePriest started the order with a nice single, and Smith followed with a big hit to the outfield. Defensively, Paul showed his skill with a great play from the mound. Zuromski tagged a runner on the way to second base. Supporting players were Evan DeFazio, Liam O’Neil, Matthew Rodriguez, Seamus Manning, Miles Copeland and Anthony Wierzba.

Li’l Yankees

The Li’l Giants’ Ronin Sargent, Tyler Hanna, Jake Mc Dermott, and Keely Shanahan played amazing defense. Benny Hatch and Jack Cefalu slammed multiple hits to the outfield. Hits were also made by Kazuki Hensley, Vivianna Martinez and Johhny Ackroyd. Talia Hanna, Skylar Freutel and Ava Crotti all made home run hits.
