Karen Meyer and Adam Boe announce their engagement to be married Jan. 7, 2012 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Meyer is the daughter of Gary and Deborah Meyer of Big Bend Drive. She is the sister of Cindy Mauer and Kimberly Gilmore, both of Pacifica.
She graduated from Peninsula High School and is employed at the Terra Nova Christian Daycare.
Boe is the son of Richard and Shirley Boe of Burlingame. He is the brother of Shona Tassio of Pacifica, Darcey Axiaq of Millbrae and Corey Boe of Burlingame.
A graduate of Loma Chica High School, he is employed at the Marriott at the Airport.
