Employees of Safeway helped remodel and retrofit a home on Berkeley on Saturday. The home’s owners are disabled, and the work was done as part of Safeway’s Support for People with Disabilities Campaign. Working with the national nonprofit organization Building Together, Safeway workers will refurbish projects in more than 10 cities this year.
