Dave Pine inched ahead of the competition to win a seat on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors in Tuesday’s mail-in election. He earned 27.2 percent of the vote, nudging out his closest competitor, Richard Holober, who earned 26 percent of the vote.

An analysis of the Pacifica precincts reveals Holober received the most votes in town with 1,806. Gina Papan received 1,706 and Pine came in with 1,330 votes.
