As the spring sports season gets underway at Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School, plans for the summer program have been finalized. The Boys and Girls Club, which runs the sports program at IBL, will once again offer five weeks of basketball camp and a week of volleyball camp. New this year will be a volleyball camp at Terra Nova High School.

As they did last summer, the Boys and Girls Club will also have a day camp at IBL from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Wanting to expand the opportunities for girls to play volleyball, the Club teamed up with Terra Nova High School varsity volleyball Coach Joe Seavey to offer a camp the week of June 20-24.The camp for current 7th, 8th and 9th graders is from 9 a.m. until noon, with a second session offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for 8th, 9th and 10th graders.
