Ban shot a 3-under-par 67 at the Presidio Golf Course in San Francisco to win the West Catholic Athletic League tournament individual title. He also led the Monarchs to the WCAL team title. Ban, who will play at Cal next season, took medalist honors in eight of 14 league matches this season. On Tuesday, he carded a 75 at Rancho Cañada to help Mitty finish third at the Central Coast Section First Regional. Ban finished 22nd at the CCS championships as a junior and 16th as a sophomore.
