Sheetal Desai, MD, named Department of Medicine Interim Chair
On July 1, 2024, Sheetal Desai, MD, became the interim chair for the Department of Medicine. She succeeds Alpesh Amin, MD, MBA, who was chair of the department since 2008. In addition to interim chair, Desai will continue her roles as chief of the Division of Rheumatology and DEI officer for the Department of Medicine.
