Trump Trashes ‘Ridiculous and Abysmal’ Project 2025 Plan for His Second Term

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump trashed the Heritage Foundation’s “Project 2025” plan for his second term in office on Friday, calling parts of it “absolutely ridiculous and abysmal” in a post on Truth Social.
“I know nothing about Project 2025,” wrote Trump. “I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal. Anything they do, I wish them luck, but I have nothing to do with them.”
Project 2025, which Heritage calls a “Presidential Transition Project,” is a response to the “slow start” of the first Trump administration according to the think tank’s president, Kevin Roberts, and is being overseen by former Trump administration officials. Media coverage of the agenda has been overwhelmingly negative, with many progressives and even some conservatives raising concerns over the policy agenda and governing plan it outlines.

The actions of liberal politicians in Washington have created a desperate need and unique opportunity for conservatives to start undoing the damage the Left has wrought and build a better country for all Americans in 2025.
It is not enough for conservatives to win elections. If we are going to rescue the country from the grip of the radical Left, we need both a governing agenda and the right people in place, ready to carry this agenda out on day one of the next conservative administration.
This is the goal of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project. The project will build on four pillars that will, collectively, pave the way for an effective conservative administration: a policy agenda, personnel, training, and a 180-day playbook.
Despite Trump’s public disavowal of it, his Make America Great Again Super PAC — which he technically has no control over — has promoted it.
Roberts, who has denied the results of the 2020 presidential election, has been scrutinized in recent days over his declaration that “we are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”
