Nikki Haley Releases All Her Delegates to Vote For Trump Despite Not Being Invited to Convention: ‘She’s Fine With That’

Nikki Haley, the 2024 GOP runner-up for president, released all of her delegates to Donald Trump on Tuesday, urging them to support the nomination of the former president at the upcoming Republican National Convention.

Politico’s Meridith McGraw broke the news that Haley would release her 97 delegates to Trump.

“The nominating convention is a time for Republican unity,” Haley will reportedly say in an upcoming statement.

Joe Biden is not competent to serve a second term and Kamala Harris would be a disaster for America. We need a president who will hold our enemies to account, secure our border, cut our debt, and get our economy back on track. I encourage my delegates to support Donald Trump next week in Milwaukee,” the statement will add.

Haley spent much of her primary run targeting Vice President Harris as an existential danger to the country while claiming that Biden would not be able to serve a full second term.

McGraw asked Haley spokesperson Chaney Denton if Haley would speak at the RNC in Milwaukee. Denton replied that Haley “was not invited, and she’s fine with that. Trump deserves the convention he wants. She’s made it clear she’s voting for him and wishes him the best.”

Haley and Trump exchanged sharp jabs during the primary season, with Trump calling his former ambassador to the UN “birdbrain” and regularly attacking her intelligence and loyalty. Trump even went so far as to suggest Haley’s husband, who was serving abroad at the time, had left her. Haley hit back by attacking Trump’s fitness for office and arguing that the vast majority of Americans wanted to move on from the “chaos” of Trumpism.
