Fetterman Trashes Democrats Publicly Criticizing Biden in Scathing Morning Joe Rant: ‘Might as Well Get Your MAGA Hat’

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) blasted Democrats publicly criticizing President Joe Biden in his sign off message on Thursday’s Morning Joe.

The senator argued Biden will win the election and said he can’t understand what is motivating some Democrats to criticize Biden. The president has found an increasing number of critics on his own side over issues like his age, low polling, and his support of Israel’s strikes on Gaza.

Fetterman said Democrats are airing their grievances “too publicly,” possibly in an attempt to chase “clout.” He recommended they get their Make America Great Again hat in support of Donald Trump.

“I don’t understand why,” the senator, who has been a vocal supporter of Israel, said. “I don’t know what’s in it for you to do that, whether you’re just chasing clout or want to make it into the news or anything like that. But if you’re not willing to just support the president and say these kinds of things, you might as well just get your MAGA hat because you now are helping Trump.”

Among Biden’s recent Democratic critics is Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who recently encouraged Democrats to vote uncommitted in the Feb. 27 Michigan primary. She previously accused him of supporting “genocide” in the Israel-Hamas war.

Fetterman predicted on Thursday that Biden will win his state and, therefore, the election.

“The president is going to win here in Pennsylvania, and I’ve always believed that whoever wins Pennsylvania is going to be the next president,” he said.

Biden won Pennsylvania by less than 2% in 2020. In 2016, Trump won the state by an even slimmer margin.
