Biden Should Ignore Critics, Move Forward With ‘Powerful Campaign’ Says Trump in Trolling Truth Social Post

Donald Trump trolled President Joe Biden on Saturday with a post on social media encouraging the Democrat to “ignore his many critics” and continue his “powerful and far reaching campaign” in the 2024 presidential election.

The first presidential debate of 2024 proved disastrous for the Biden campaign, as his own party began openly expressing doubts about both his ability to win and his ability to serve if elected; doubts that have persisted despite Biden’s big sit-down interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos on Friday.

Trump has uncharacteristically stayed comparatively quiet about Biden’s debate performance and the divide among Democrats over whether the president should continue as the nominee.

But on Saturday Trump posted a sarcastic call of his own – for Biden to continue his campaign and stay in the race.

“Crooked Joe Biden should ignore his many critics and move forward, with alacrity and strength, with his powerful and far reaching campaign,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social app. “He should be sharp, precise, and energetic, just like he was in The Debate.”

Apparently covering his bases, Trump also attacked Stephanopoulos before the interview came out.
