Erika Aparecida Silveira is a professor and researcher (Medicine, Nutrition) at the Faculty of Medicine and at the Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Goiania, Brazil. She is a productivity scholarship holder from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). She has been an advisor to Master’s Degree and Ph.D. students. She conducts research in epidemiology, clinical trials, obesity, aging, and nutrition. She obtained her Ph.D. in epidemiology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), a postdoc at the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health, University College London. Her current projects are GEOG—Grupo de Estudos em Obesidade Grave (Severe Obesity Study Group), GBEM—Grupo Brasileiro de Estudos sobre Multimorbidade (Brazilian Group of Studies on Multimorbidity) and Projeto Idosos Goiania (Goiania older adults research project). She has experience in the following areas: epidemiology, elderly health, clinical nutrition, obesity, chronic diseases, cardiovascular risk factors, nutritional assessment, and body composition.
Túlio Nogueira holds the position of full professor in the field of public health dentistry and gerodontology at the Faculty of Dentistry, Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Brazil. Additionally, he serves as a member of the permanent board of the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry at UFG (PPGO/UFG). He completed his Ph.D. studies in Dentistry at the Federal University of Goiás, with an exchange period at McGill University, Canada. His interests include public health dentistry, geriatric dentistry, and health economics.
