Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a game-sealing interception against the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Ford Field in the NFC Divisional Round, which means safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was right about him.

Gardner-Johnson, 26, started the feud last week when he said the Buccaneers would actually be a good time if they had a better quarterback and even named a few of their star players.

Mayfield, 28, clapped back by reminding Gardner-Johnson that Russell Gage, one of the players he named, had not played a single snap for Tampa Bay all season long.

The beef continued on the field during the NFC Divisional Round when Gardner-Johnson picked off Mayfield and got away with taunting after giving him the football back in front of officials.

Another Lions also got away with taunting after standing over Mayfield when he sacked him in the second half.

Lions received a handful of favorable calls throughout the contest that had Buccaneers fans on social media questioning the integrity of the game.

In the end, however, Gardner-Johnson was right about the Buccaneers needing a better quarterback. Tom Brady would not have made that pass.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson still trolling Baker Mayfield

Gardner-Johnson went live on Instagram following the Lions' victory and continued trolling Mayfield, who had previously said the Detroit player does not watch film.

"That boy said, 'boy, you don't watch film,'" Gardner-Johnson said. "And I tossed that b---h back at you, too. I hope you got it, too. Make sure you send that with the jersey."
