Snell, Imanaga, Bellinger, Chapman: The best free agents available in the MLB

The MLB free agency market was cleared of distractions with the addition of Japan's Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and now teams can review their budgets and look to add the talent they need to their roster for the upcoming Major League Baseball season.

There are several stars on the free agent list at various positions, of course the starting rotation is one of the most in the spotlight, but there are teams that need to bolster their lineup with outfielders who can help the defence with their arms as well as their power with the bat.

The list of available starting pitchers includes Blake Snell, who is one of the Los Angeles Angels' top picks to overcome the blow of losing Ohtani.

Also among the prized talent are Jordan Montgomery, Japan's Shota Imanaga and Marcus Stroman, while among the closers the best is Josh Hader, who could end up with the defending champions, the Texas Rangers.

On the outfield, and especially with power hitting, the two most sought-after are Cody Bellinger, who could remain with the Chicago Cubs, and Matt Chapman, with the San Francisco Giants in a new attempt to bring stars to their lineup.

Also drawing attention are J.D. Martinez, Rhys Hoskins, Jorge Soler and Teoscar Hernandez.
