Last Thursday, July 4, the United States dressed up to commemorate its great national holiday. Streets all over the country were filled with people ready to celebrate the nation's anniversary. However, as is usually the case in this type of festivities, not all corners of the country experienced the same joy. One of the incidents of the day was starring actor Danny Trejo, who was involved in a fight.
As reported by TMZ, the actor, known for films such as 'Con Air' or 'Machete', was with a large group of people in the Sunland-Tujunga parade, located in the state of California. An altercation broke out there that forced the authorities to intervene.
Trejo suffered a bad joke with his car
Apparently, Trejo was driving his car with several friends when, suddenly, they were attacked by other people who threw water balloons at them. Being unexpected, the actor and his companions were frightened and reproached the attackers for what had happened. According to the interpreter, they were not children but adults in their 30s.
A fight then broke out between the two sides, while those present shouted for them to stop because there were children in the area and the matter could get out of control and result in injuries. In the end, the police came to the scene and tried to mediate the incident, but most of those involved had already left.
In statements to TMZ, Danny Trejo confirmed that, although he is physically fine, he is saddened by the "childishness" of the event and because it was not a children's prank, but rather the irresponsible acts of a group of adults that prevented him from enjoying the 4th of July parade, one of the most important days in the United States.
