In the season with the most viewers ever in the history of the NBA, the league has made public its ranking of the most viral plays, those that have had the greatest impact throughout the season. And the data is objective, it is about the reproductions they have had on social media. And there are some surprises.

From five to one, the first play is a virtuosity of Stephen Curry, who feints to shoot, pretends to penetrate and ends up nailing a three-pointer from the corner. The play has been viewed 96 million times.

The fourth in the ranking is another Curry prodigy. The play is sensational but probably became more viral (and famous) because of the Warriors player's celebration. The sensational action against the Grizzlies by 'Don Steph' was viewed 128 million times.

In third place comes one of the dunks of the season. Anthony Edwards decides to take a self-pass against the backboard for an extraordinary dunk. It's one of Ant-Man's best plays in a season in which he's given away a good handful. Watched 140 million times.

The second place in this ranking is occupied by Victor Wembanyama, the only player capable of converting a layup into a dunk. The flight of the Spurs rookie was reproduced on social media, no less than 247 million times.

It is curious that among the thousands of offensive plays of Luka Doncic, the most viewed online is a defensive action. It was watched a total of 250 million times, in a play whereby Doncic steals the ball, dives to the floor for it and ends up catching it, gives a pass behind his back to Irving who projects the alley-oop for Derrick Jones' dunk.
