Courteeners and Blossoms have announced a huge charity gig at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse

Raise the Roof hopes to raise money for homelessness charity A Bed Every Night and will take place on Friday May 24.

Also performing on the night will be Bugzy Malone, Lisa Stansfield and Dr John Cooper Clarke, hosted by DJ Sunta Templeton.

The good news for fans is that tickets only cost £5 each - the bad news is that it’s pot luck as to whether you can actually get your hands on one.

Fans will need to text 'RAISE' to 84988 to be entered into a ballot - if successful you will get a pair of tickets.

Each text will make a £10 contribution to the A Bed Every Night charity.

The public ballot will remain open for three weeks, closing at midday on Friday May 3. Those lucky enough to bag tickets will be contacted on Monday May 6.

An age restriction of 16+ will apply, and anyone aged 16 or 17 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
