Five Manchester United players could seek January loans amid lack of game time

All squad members will be hoping to enjoy game time this season but if that doesn't come before the new year, exits could be sought

Erik ten Hag admitted last week that he will need to utilise his squad amid a packed schedule this season.

The calendar has got even more rammed following the postponements of Manchester United ’s two league games amid the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Reds face playing mostly two games a week for the majority of the campaign and Ten Hag will need to rotate his team.

He has surprised many by deciding to keep hold of personnel who seemed destined to exit. The fringe players in question will be hoping they do get more minutes on the pitch before January.

If they do not get at least a runout in early Carabao Cup and Europa League rounds, then they may seek to push for a temporary exit in January due to the fact that the further the team progresses into competitions, the less likely Ten Hag will deviate from his strongest line-up.

The teenager turns 20 next year and currently only has a few minutes of competitive senior action to his name. Alongside Zidane Iqbal, he was one of the leading academy products during the pre-season tour, but will want to be handed more first-team experience before too long or risk falling behind in his career trajectory.
