A popular Japanese food item has been recalled from UK shelves after food bosses issued an allergen warning.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has put out a notice over Japan Food Express Ltd's Daisho Hakata Ramen Noodle Tonkotsu, which could contain traces of sesame that are not declared on the label.

"This product contains sesame making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to sesame, " the website reads. Customers can return the product to the store of purchase for a full refund.

Best before: Until end of December 2024
