It's been just over five weeks but we are now fully in to the crunch stages of the Rugby World Cup.

After 20 teams started, it is left to just four teams battling out to be crowned winners in just over a week's time.

England will take on the New Zealand All Blacks in the semi-final of rugby's biggest sporting event after a comfortable victory over Australia in the quarter finals.

It is the first time England has reached the semi-final in 12 years and with the All Blacks out to keep up with their winning record, it's sure to be a game not to be missed.

All the action will kick off at the International Stadium in Yokohama, Japan, at 9am UK time on Saturday, October 26.

England XVs will take on the New Zealand All Blacks

You can watch England's semi-final game on ITV who have had the exclusive rights to the entire 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign.

Whoever wins the crucial match will face either Wales or South Africa depending on the outcome of Sunday's game which also airs at 9am on ITV.

And even if England don't win on Saturday, they'll still have something to play for in the form of a bronze medal in the 'loser semi-final' on Friday, November 1.

The All Blacks will be out to keep up with their winning record

For those who may not be as familiar with rugby but are fully backing the national team this weekend, here's a couple of things you need to know about the knock-out stage rules.

If the score is level at full time, the teams will play for an extra 10 minutes each way.

If there is still no clear winner, there will be 10 minutes of sudden death and the first team to score wins.

And what if nobody scores? This will then lead to a best-of-five kicking competition and whoever wins that will be the overall winner.
