Kym Marsh's new beau has seemingly hit back at some of the responses to their new romance after they were seen sharing a kiss. Former Coronation Street star Kym confirmed she's found love again on Sunday (July 7) with co-star Samuel Thomas.
Kym, 48, took to social media to reveal that she has found her 'soulmate' after falling for a lover 19 years her junior after meeting him in her new role, playing Disney's iconic villain Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians - The Musical.
She took to Instagram with a snap of herself and Samuel sharing a smacker and said: "Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou."

Samuel also took to his own Instagram page with a snap of the pair in which they could be seen smiling as they looked lovingly into each other's eyes. The actor, who is playing Tom Dearly in the UK and Ireland tour of the new musical 101 Dalmatians, said: "I didn’t expect you, but here you are. I love you. @marsh_kym."
Quick to respond to the post, actress, presenter and singer Kym commented: "Ditto. The best things happen unexpectedly. Love you too."
While many rushed to show their love and support for the new relationship, others weren't so kind leading to some jumping to Kym and Samuel's defence in the comments section of her post.
@bekheld said: "Ignore the hate, my husband and I have been together 24 yrs on the 12th. 19yr age gap.. I was his babysitter!! Safe to say love conquers all." @xx.bryony.xx wrote: "I find it absolutely baffling how people can be so horrible, especially to someone they don’t even know!!! She deserves all the happiness."
@nicoleeg89 commented: "Omg so many people follow u just to be awful in the comments!! Seriously people need to grownup a bit.. So happy for u, everyone deserves to be happy so go for it." @deborah.rfc added: "So many nasty, jealous folk on this, it’s actually embarrassing. I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Your dad would be so happy to see you in love & smiling again Kym."
And it seems some of the comments didn't pass Samuel by as he took to his Instagram Story and across a plain white background typed: "Opinions are like a***holes... everyone's got one, but they're still a***holes."
