A manhunt is underway for a 31-year-old who is wanted in Greater Manchester. Police are urging people to look out for Thomas Brooks.
Greater Manchester Police says Brooks has links to both Salford and Manchester city centre. He is wanted in connection with a shoplifting offence and an assault, GMP says.
An urgent appeal has been issued on social media this afternoon (July 8) as officers try to track Brooks down. GMP has issued a photo of Brooks alongside it.

In the photo, Brooks can be seen with short hair, a moustache and a patchy beard. Anyone who sees Brooks or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible.
