Drivers are facing long delays on a Greater Manchester motorway this afternoon after an accident near Rochdale.
Two lanes are currently closed on the M62 eastbound at J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) as emergency services deal with the incident. The lane closures are causing severe congestion, with delays of around 20 minutes.
Queues are stretching to J21 Milnrow this afternoon, with congestion said to be at around four miles. It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured in the collision.

All delays cleared
All delays have now cleared up on the M62 eastbound this afternoon, and traffic has returned to normal.
Collision involved three cars
The collision on the M62 at around 1:15pm involved three cars, according to Greater Manchester Police.
Thankfully, no serious injuries have been reported.
Some delays remain
Live maps from National Highways show some delays remain around the M62 Eastbound J22, but the four miles of congestion has eased considerably.

All lanes have now been reopened and the accident cleared on the M62 Eastbound. Some queues and delays may remain in the area.
