I chose an Arc solely for music in a bedroom and I'm a bit of a stickler for audio quality. I'm quite impressed with it.

Any HP shopper should consider Sonos as it works just fine with Apple Music ('https://support.sonos.com/en-us/services/apple-music') but is also ready with about any other source of music too ('https://support.sonos.com/en-us/services'), has airplay 2 ('https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/stream-airplay-audio-to-sonos') too, and, since it easily works with Apple HomeKit ('https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/use-siri-to-control-sonos-speakers'), you can use Siri smarts(?) in the rest of the devices you own (phone/iPad/Mac/AppleTV) for HP smart-like commands/controls.

For those wishing Apple would develop the REST of a home theater setup, Sonos is already there with subwoofer, rear surround speakers, etc. I just helped a friend who wanted a soundbar-based home theater go Arc + twin 300s (for surround) + Sub. The sound is quite great in their TV room. Sonos- like (old) Apple- "just works."
This. Have had so so so many issues with my HomePods and HomeKit, it’s to the point I have a dedicated engineering team and senior advisor to help me troubleshoot. Meanwhile my Sonos system indeed just works.

Spotify: https://support.sonos.com/en-us/services/spotify

Sonos already directly supports about ALL music services ('https://support.sonos.com/en-us/services') (more than 100) but one can also use airplay 2 if they want. Click any service that interests you on that page for more information.

Besides playing a lot of Sonos' own stations, I like Pandora and it works just fine on Sonos too. I have a few stations on TuneIn too and they play as well.

Basically Sonos is quite OPEN... including having "AUX in" on most products for those who would like wired connections and/or the ability to hook up audio sources that don't have HDMI connections.

I've created a number of music favorite playlists in the Music app and enjoy them often on my Sonos speakers within the home... often commanding Siri to play the playlists in whichever rooms I want it. As easy as it all works with my Apple stuff, you'd think Sonos was Apple... minus such stiff lockdown/walled garden constraints Apple puts on their own speaker offerings.
