I got one last year when Costco was running a deal where you get a $500 shop card if you spend $3000. Got the wife a new MacBook Pro to replace her 2014 model and I got the iPad Air M1 to bring the whole thing over $3000 -- then got $500 back from Costco.

So far I have loved the iPad Air M1 (which replaced my 2017 10.5-inch iPad Pro). There are a few times I have wished it had Face ID, but the Touch ID does the job and I saved a bunch of money over an iPad Pro.
