A bit nuts to get this when virtually anybody can get an M2 Mac mini for $499 and a Dell 27-inch 4K monitor for $299. For the iMac, you're basically paying $800 for aesthetics of an AIO machine.
I don't completely disagree with you, but the *major* caveat there is that a $299 Dell 4K monitor would not be anywhere close to as good as the iMac's panel.

I have one and it’s the best computer I’ve ever owned. I did upgrade the ram though to 16GB. Base storage

screen is great and its a very good computer for teams meetings. I run parallels on it and it works as smooth as my new windows pc from work

I would recommend them, but I do think they need the chip upgrade
I'm in when it gets the M2!

That's a worse monitor -- fewer pixels spread out over more space. If you want something comparable to the 4.5K one in the iMac, you're not going to get it for $299.
